Rally House Sports Apparel is coming to Gloucester Premium Outlets (Blackwood), taking over a prime location unit situated between Aeropostale and American Eagle Outfitters.
Signage is in the windows of the unit announcing that Rally House is coming soon!
Additionally, the popular sports jersey and more retailer has already posted online their first job opening for the not-yet-opened location, looking to hire a Store Manager for the new Blackwood store!
If you are unfamiliar with Rally House, they put a big focus on sports apparel such as team jerseys, T-shirts and caps… but they also feature gifts, home decor and other merchandise representing all of the major sports leagues and players.
And it’s clear to me that Rally House has created a respected name for themselves with customers, as Facebook shares of my articles regarding other locations were overloaded with many positive and excited comments from readers!
I am being told that Rally House Gloucester Premium Outlets is expecting to open early Spring! Late March or early April is possible for an opening, hopefully in time for the start of the Phillies season.
A few days ago a reader reached out to me regarding seeing the signage in place announcing Rally House. Yesterday, on a bright and sunny day I took a walk around The Outlets to check on Rally House and to see what is else is new in the shopping center.
My “pounding the pavement” lead me to learn there are actually several new and coming-soon stores at The Outlets, and I will be covering them over the next week or so.
Gloucester Premium Outlets is located in the Blackwood section of Gloucester Township New Jersey, situated at exit 7B of the highly traveled Route 42. Route 42 provides fast access to all of the area’s major roadways such as Route 295, AC Expressway, Philadelphia Bridges and more. The opposite side of the Outlets is on the also widely traveled local road, the Black Horse Pike.
The Gloucester Premium Outlets feature over 90 stores in an outdoor shopping village-like setting. The store mix features many national brands as well as a mixture of locally owned stores. Last fall Coach opened, and the outlets also stores such as The Gap, Levi’s, Polo, Calvin Klein, Converse, Michael Kors, Old Navy, Under Armour and more!
Dave & Busters restaurant, bar and arcade is also located adjacent to the Outlets!
This would be the second immediate “Route 42” area Rally House location, as a store opened less than 4 months ago about 5 miles away in Deptford, NJ.

Rally House is a growing family owned chain of sports merchandise stores offering sports team jerseys, hats and other gifts… targeting the teams in each of the store’s local area, but also adding in some other popular teams
In South Jersey they currently have locations in Deptford, the Cherry Hill Mall, as well as the Eastgate Shopping Center in the Moorestown/Mount Laurel.
My last visit to a Rally House was the Deptford store last fall.
As you would expect the team selection leaned very heavily towards the local Philadelphia teams. I know they carry merchandise from all of the major league teams in the country, but I didn’t pay too much attention!
Even with the Deptford store opening after the baseball season had ended, there was still a significant inventory of Phillies merchandise in the store… And I would imagine with spring training starting now and the full baseball season just six weeks away, the Rally House inventory for Phillies merchandise is probably going to be even larger!
