Glassboro’s Collegetown Shopping Center is adding two new retailers; with the recent signings of Wingstop and MY SALON Suite.
The Collegetown Shopping Center is located on Delsea Drive and is home to Big Lots, Esporta, Lidl, Ross, Ulta, Five Below and more.
The space for the two new tenants is being created from the recently vacated Rainbow clothing store location. Rainbow closed at the end of January.
Shopping center owner Brixmor will be splitting the former Rainbow unit into two sections with Wingstop taking 1/3 of the front façade (left side), and MY SALON Suite taking 2/3rds (right side).
This will likely include a full front facade remodel for the unit, as this has been the pattern with other conversions related to new tenants at the shopping center.
The location is a prime one in the shopping center directly at the main entrance off of Delsea Drive, which sends cars directly towards the store! Additionally the new and popular Five Below and Ulta stores are located to the right of these upcoming tenants.
Signage is up in the windows of the unit announcing the two new tenants and the Collegetown online brochures have also been updated to reflect the two new tenants… but at this time I do not have timing on the opening of either.
Wingstop – Glassboro
Wingstop is a popular fast-casual chicken wing restaurant which offers an indoor dining experience but also targets customer sales geared towards take-out and delivery.
While chicken wings are their signature items, they also offer chicken sandwiches, tenders and other items. Many customers say their french fries are as much a reason to visit Wingstop as the wings are!
Wingstop also offers a selection of 12 different sauces which offer a variety of flavors and heat.
The franchise based chicken restaurant has been on a growth spurt in the 42Freeway area with new locations recently opened in Gloucester Township (Cross Keys Road and Blackwood-Clementon Rd.) as well as a Deptford location.
It seems every time I’ve visited a Wingstop location they are always very busy! Must be doing something right… and their stock price doubled since September.
