A brand new Ulta Beauty store has opened in Glassboro’s successful Collegetown Shopping Center on Delsea Drive. We first brought the plans to readers back in April
The Ulta Store is located directly next to the new Five Below, both of which were developed in a space that previously was home to a Staples store. The Collegetown center has had an amazing transformation in recent years, addling LIDL grocery, Big Lots, Ross and more.
As you would expect the Ulta store features a wide selection of beauty, skin and fragrance products, but the Glassboro location also features a hair salon, eyebrow beauty bar and The Wellness Shop.
The Grand Opening was 10 AM this morning, Friday November 17th.
Honestly i had no idea they were opening today… I literally just happened to drive by at 9:59am as several people were out front waiting to enter. Talk about “good timing”!
So I parked the car, and walked in to check the store out… which really is a beautiful store inside.
It’s clear that Ulta understands today’s shopping patterns as well as competition from online companies, so they put a lot of effort into making the Ulta stores a very comfortable and inviting place to shop.
Today it takes a lot of effort to motivate consumers to get in their car and drive to a store, and then provide a store experience which keeps the customer in the store and browsing products. Ulta Beauty seems to have figured out that recipe.
The stores feature beautiful flooring and displays, an attractive product mix, and awesome lighting which even includes direct lighting on most of the products.
Honestly I feel both Ulta and their Glassboro neighbor Five Below (opened earlier this year)… have both mastered that “just browsing” shopping experiences which has customers purchasing more items then what they intended when the first walked through the door!

The 10,640 square foot Ulta Beauty store is broken out into different sections featuring makeup, fragrances and a variety of care products for skin, hair and body.
They also have a large display of beauty tools such as hair dryers, curling irons, brushes and more… as well as gift products.
I had a chance to chat with one of the managers who said they are in their soft opening phase, but then added… now is the time to visit the new Ulta store because everything is fully stocked. Well of course they’ll keep replenishing the inventory, but it’ll likely never be as full as it is today!
This may surprise you but I don’t regularly shop at Ulta (ha!) so I was surprised to see that they have a small hair salon and a beauty bar at the back of the store.
The Beauty Services page at the UIta Beauty website lists the following categories; Hair Services, Waxing & Brows, Makeup & Lashes, Skin Services, and Ear Piercing.
Hair services include “Cut, Color, Style, Texture” as part of their expert services.
For the eyebrow services Ulta states they use licensed estheticians for brow trimming, tinting, waxing and more.
The online location page states they also have a Wellness shop offering products you could use to create your own spa experience at home… such as supplements, spa products, and items for relaxing and renewing.
Ulta Glassboro offers store pickups where you can order online and have the items ready at the store. They also offer same day delivery (Check with the store on online for details).
Store hours are; open until 9:00 PM, with Beauty Services and Curbside Pickup having different hours. Check the store website page for details.
