A Fit Life Fitness gym is opening in Washington Township this April, at the Tower Square shopping center. A 24-hr gym, they are currently offering pre-opening rates.
While they are completing the delivery and installation of all of the equipment, Fit Life Fitness Sewell is staffed Mon-Fri from 9am-5pm for you to chat with a representative, and sign up for pre-opening pricing.
Fit Life Fitness will offer 24-hour access, a full selection of state-of-the-art equipment for weight training, cardio and instruction as well as other features such as a standup tanning booth, hydro massage bed and more.
Fit Life Fitness Sewell will also offer small group training sessions, one-on-one training, boot camps and more.
Posters in the front windows of the gym (and marketing materials) show that the pre-opening pricing is $19.99 biweekly.
The location is along Egg Harbor Road in Washington Township close to the Five-Points intersection (and near the Township Water Tower), in the same center as the Village Pub restaurant and bar.
Previously the gym unit was a Dollar General which relocated to a new building on Delsea Drive.
Originally the gym was planned to be an Anytime Fitness franchise, which I wrote about in December of 2022. At that time an Anytime banner was hanging above the entrance announcing the gym, and this fall the full Anytime Fitness signage was on the building… before new ownership decided to switch to Fit Life Fitness.
The Fit Life Fitness brand is newer and owned by the Tower Square Shopping Center owner Pennmark, according to a December 2023 article in the Canton Repository.
Currently Fit Life Fitness has a location in Pottstown at the Shoppes at Coventry with others planned.
Fit Life Fitness – Sewell
As mentioned the gym is located in the Tower Square Shopping Center where the Village Pub restaurant and bar is located. This is at the corner of Egg Harbor Rd. and County House Rd. Fit Life fitness takes over the left end of the shopping center.
Over the last few months I’ve actually stopped in a few times during the construction build-out… but with that phase seemingly completed, for my visit yesterday I caught up with gym manager Jeff, who lives in the local area.
Jeff is on-hand Monday-Friday 9am-5pm to meet with potential gym members who are interested in details of the new gym, as well as coordinate the delivery and installation of the final gym equipment.
From what I could see all of the core construction is completed; walls are finished, carpet is installed.
A few dozen pieces of equipment are already in place at the gym and they expect deliveries of the final equipment over the next few weeks, which is partly why they’re giving a more general April opening time frame.
Based on what is already in place at the gym it appears to be 3 distinct areas of workout equipment.
Closer to the front of the gym near the windows is the cardio section, of which a few stair climbing machines are in place.
Behind that is a section of circuit workout machines where each machine is focused on building up a specific muscle group in your body. Already about 10 pieces of circuit equipment machines were in place.
To the back of the gym along the mirrored walls is the free weight section which already has multiple pieces of equipment set up including squat racks, shoulder presses and more.
Jeff states more equipment is coming including a sauna, hydro massage beds, a stand-up tanning bed and more!
