It was the last Don Pablo's left, and last night management came in and closed up the beloved Tex-Mex eatery located in Deptford NJ (in the Target Parking lot). We found several employee posts on social media about the closing, and the nearby Uno's location posted to employees to come over and apply at Uno's. The Deptford Miller's Ale House project has taken a big step forward, as crews have been removing the complete interior of the former Don Pablos Restaurant to make way for the Miller's buildout. We checked things out today and when we say completely removed... we mean COMPLETELY. All that remains are the outer walls and roof. This will be as blank a slate as possible for the developers of Miller's Ale House

The recently closed Deptford Don Pablos will have its valuable liquor license transferred to an affiliate of property owner Sobelco (who own the entire shopping center buildings including Target and BJ's). This is according to information in a Deptford Township Public notice. Well.. we had to do a little bit of digging to connect the dots! No info yet on what their long term plans are.
At one time they had 120 restaurants, with several in the Delaware Valley. But as of last Thanksgiving, Deptford is the absolute last location of the Don Pablo's Tex Mex chain!
