Things are finally happening with the new Super Wawa project on Clements Bridge Road! Underground utility work is complete, concrete curbing and sidewalks are in... and we should see the building start going up soon! 5 min video overviews the current site and how the traffic will flow in and out of the property, and a possible (much later) new cut-through from Clements Bridge Road and Rt 55 at Deptford Center Road!
Wawa is planning another Gloucester Township location, this time in Erial. They will appear before the Zoning board regarding their desire to develop a store on a corner site of a currently a closed bank building. The new Super Wawa (with gas) will also take over the properties of 3 homes directly behind the bank building. The Zoning Board meeting is Wednesday July 8th.
The new Super Wawa being developed in Brooklawn NJ at Rt 130 and Browning Road... is scheduled to open on October 10th. Associates in the Bellmawr Wawa (Browning and Park) are saying their store is closing Oct 9 and the next day employees will report to work in the new Brooklawn location.
