Caribbean Paradise is a new Jamaican restaurant which opened in Washington Township, in the shopping center directly across from the High School. They are offering “A Taste of the Island” with their delicious Jamaican dishes. They are on the left side of the shopping center (now called Cooper Plaza?), directly next to the Craft Room. This is the second location for Caribbean Paradise, with the first being in the Berlin Farmers Market.
The beloved Seven Star Diner in Deptford (at Five Point) is absolutely fine. They are waiting for indoor dining to resume, and no… they are not for sale. The real estate signs on Rt 41 and 47 were to promote additional buildings to be added to the larger property they own (the signs are now gone). Video in the article!
The Bobby Ray’s Black Horse Tavern in Mt Ephraim is back under construction, not letting the events of 2020 change their plans! Deptford’s own John Eichenberg has just opened the Turnersville location of Crab Du Jour Xpress! Located right on the Black Horse Pike / Rt 42 in the former Wendy’s building. They are offering a variety of seafood items (and other) from fried baskets and po’ boy sandwiches, to full seafood boils! The core of this post is Mark’s experience video… “Unboxing” and eating!
