Real Fruit Bubble Tea & Hakam Shop OPEN at Gloucester Premium Outlets

Two new Asian-inspired businesses opened recently at the Gloucester Premium Outlets; Real Fruit Bubble Tea offers one of the most attractive Asian tea stores I’ve been in, and directly next to them is the Hakam Shop which features fun Asian gifts, toys and snacks.

The Gloucester Premium Outlets are located in the Blackwood section of Gloucester Township NJ, between Route 42 and the Black Horse Pike.

Real Fruit and Hakam are two separate businesses but they ended up being directly next to each other in an area of the Outlets near Old Navy and Gap Outlet. 42Freeway wrote about Real Fruit back in February when they were Coming Soon.

The two new Asian-inspired retailers have the benefit of a nice little fountain located out front, with some surrounding table seating. After you pick up a fun gift item at Hakam Shop and purchase a delicious Real Fruit Bubble Tea… you can sit outside around the fountain for an Asian Zen-like experience!

Gloucester Premium Outlets features food trucks all Summer long, but May 18 & 19 is the Food Truck Festival!

Real Fruit Bubble Tea

Real Fruit Bubble Tea is a rapidly growing Asian milk tea brand… on their website they are highlighting about a dozen brand new locations! In the 42Freeway area they also recently opened a location in the Deptford Mall right in the center court.

The Gloucester Premium Outlet location for Real Fruit opened just a couple weeks ago and I stopped in last week.

I am far from a bubble tea store expert, but through my article writing here at 42Freeway I have now likely visited more than most people… and this is the most attractive bubble tea store I’ve visited in the area.

Real Fruit Bubble tea has an awesome and delicious product and they likely could’ve gotten by with a more basic store interior, but the team has put together a design where every surface of the space was designed to take carry the Asian theme and transport customers to Shanghai!

The theme is seen throughout the entire decor from the wall coverings, table and seating selections, the lighting fixtures and even the overhead hanging ceiling screens.

A large wooden graphic art display runs the entire length of the longest wall and highlights a variety of Chinese images such as the Great Wall and Panda Bears, but also bubble tea and the fresh ingredients.

When you enter Real Fruit in the Outlets you’ll see the counter space is off to the right, and while I imagine they will take your order the “old school” way… they have several self-service touchscreen kiosks including two at the counter and two on the colorfully designed immediate right sidewall.

Real Fruit Bubble Tea offers a variety of Asian teas, smoothies, slushies and more… and right now they are promoting their Summer Picks; Strawberry Banana Smoothie, Taro Sherbet, Mango Diamond Slush and Original Milk Black Tea.

Hakam Shop

Hakam Shop opened at the Gloucester Premium Outlets at the end of December, and as mentioned they are located directly next to the new Real Fruit Bubble Tea.

Hakam features Asian snacks and food, beauty and health products, home appliances, toys and housewares.

It’s a bright, colorful and fun store to just browse around and see what’s new… every time you visit the Outlets! The selection features Asian style stuffed animals “Pikachu!” to anime toys, collectibles (Pop) and more.

This bright and colorful store features light blue walls but with bright white shelving which really highlights the products that are on display.

Factor in that the Asian product and store stylings feature colorful pastel based products… Hakam Shop creates a fun and friendly shopping experience.

Plush animals take up most of the right wall, with collectibles off to the left. In the center features a variety of gift products toys and more.
