A new Rally House sports apparel and merchandise store opens in the Deptford Mall on Friday April 26th.
Rally House specializes in logoed apparel from the local teams… t-shirts, jerseys, kids wear and more.
Local teams for us of course for means Phillies, Eagles, Flyers, Sixers… you may even find the Union soccer team merch in the store. Plus merchandise is available for area Universities such as Rutgers, Temple, Penn State and others.
(As you look at my photos here, this is not the entire store. The sections with Flyers, Sixers and other teams were still being stocked when I visited on Thursday)
An extensive selection of baseball caps is in the mix as well as gift merchandise, sports home décor, coffee mugs, flags… well you’ll have to visit to see all of the cool and fun items.
The new Deptford Mall Rally House store ls located on the first floor of the mall on the side closest to DICK’s Sporting Goods. The Auntie Anne’s kiosk location is directly in front of them.
Most would remember the location in the mall as being an Abercrombie store.
I believe the Deptford Mall location is the 17th Philadelphia area location. It is also the third “42Freeway Area” location for Rally House.
Last fall the opened a location also in town at the Court at Deptford (next to Hobby Lobby). Earlier this month a location opened at the Gloucester Premium Outlets.
It may seem like a lot of stores… but in my covering the Rally House locations, the comments at the 42Freeway Facebook page have been very positive from readers!
A great selection of local team merchandise seems to be the key to the success of Rally House.
Additionally the brand is also famous for their regularly played commercials during televised games (i.e. Phillies)… “Rallll Eeeee House! Ralll Eeeee House!”. It’s one of those jingles that can get stuck in your brain, but when you want to buy a new Phillies t-shirt you’re clearly going to remember where to go!
There is no denying that Rally House is on a big growth movement… with over 170 stores open across 17 states.
The company traces their roots back to 1989 in Kansas, when they were called the Kansas Sampler store. After the 2008 economic slump and seeing the economy growing stronger, the family behind the stores decided to grow the business even further, changing the name to Rally House to be more geographically generic.
To this day they are still a family owned and operated business!
