A new location of Eddie V’s Prime Seafood opens in Cherry Hill NJ this Thursday June 15th. They offer a luxury dining experience where the seafood is flown in daily from around the world, the steaks are hand carved, and the cocktails can best be described as is… Theatrical.
The new restaurant location is along the the outside of the Cherry Hill Mall (Rt 38 side) taking over a space which previously was Grand Lux Cafe. The team at Eddie V’s have completed a full remodel of the space, to bring their signature tastes AND style to the South Jersey restaurant marketplace.
And while it’s the perfect place to celebrate your biggest occasions or even just a casual meal, Eddie V’s also offers The V lounge, featuring stage performances nightly by locally acclaimed musicians.

Eddie V’s Prime Seafood – The Experience
The Eddie V’s menu showcases seafood flown in daily from around the world, including selections sourced right off of the boats.
Care is taken to create artistically plated dishes, and they feature an ever changing array of seasonal seafood.
They consider their style as a classic American experience with a touch of modern Asian.
One menu example is the Chilean Sea Bass which is steamed Hong Kong style, with light soy broth, priced at $50.
Parmesan Sole is parmesan crusted with heirloom tomato salad, and lemon garlic butter sauce… priced at $40.
The 8 ounce center cut filet mignon is priced at $48.
And if you’re looking to really celebrate in style, their version of a surf-and-turf features the 8 oz center cut filet mignon with a premium South African lobster tail for $101.
Keep in mind that these prices are without sides. They range from the $12 sauteed spinach to the $24 butter poached lobster mashed potatoes.
Cocktails and entertainment are also a big part of the Eddie V’s experience.
The V Lounge features a corner stage for performances nightly by locally acclaimed musicians.
Guests can indulge in the “Cocktails With Attitude” menu which features signature cocktails that are handcrafted and poured with a touch of theatre.
As an example, the Smoked Old Fashioned is torched tableside on a wooden plank, and that smoke is then captured in a glass!
And if you were lucky enough to grab a reservation for Father’s Day, Eddie V’s offers a a special menu item of 11 oz Snake River Farms Gold Label Wagyu Strip Steak which is only available on the one day.
You can also get a special power of a limited edition batch of Eddie V single barrel select Blanton’s Bourbon which is only found at Eddie V’s restaurants. If you order that pour on Father’s Day don’t forget to ask about the collectible Blanton’s Topper which is available by request.
Eddie V’s – A Darden Restaurant
The dining room opens at 5:00 PM daily. The V Lounge opens an hour earlier each day at 4:00 PM and serves happy hour Sunday through Thursday from 4:00 to 6:30 PM
Reservations are recommended but not required. I went through the online reservation system at Eddie V’s website and found that they seemed to be booked through this Father’s Day weekend but then seating was available starting with Monday.
There is a reasonable dress code at Eddie V’s “we consider gym attire, sweatpants, hats, clothing with offensive language or images, and exposed undergarments too casual for our restaurants.”
While the opening is just a few days away they are still hiring, with eight different roles posted at the Eddie V’s website including; bartender, butcher, line cook, host, servers and more
Eddie V’s is part of the Darden family of restaurants.
The Darden company must be very fond of Cherry Hill as Eddie V’s will be the sixth full “alcohol serving” restaurant that Darden owns in Cherry Hill (Capital Grille, Seasons 52 , Bahama Breeze, LongHorn, Olive Garden) and then just a couple miles up the road at the Moorestown Mall they own Yard House.
But clearly The Capital Grille and Eddie V’s Prime Seafood are their premier luxury restaurants.
You could say that Eddie V’s is their premium seafood restaurant which also serves steak. And The Capital Grille is their premier steakhouse which also serves seafood.
And they are both at the Cherry Hill Mall. Yeah… Darden really likes Cherry Hill.
