5,000 Seat Grandstand from Atco Dragway is Listed For Sale Online.  $390,000 and needs to be removed quickly.

Atco Dragway has announced their immediate and permanent closure. Three years ago we wrote about an interested buyer, but unsure if those plans are what closed the 63 yr old dragway

Whims Brewing is coming to Atco, New Jersey on the White Horse Pike and will be taking over the location recently vacated by Atco brewing.

In early fall 2020, Brotherton Brewing moved into a really cool location in Atco New Jersey.  A former FIREHOUSE! Brotherton has been around since 2015 in Shamong New Jersey, and needing more space so they moved and created an awesome brewing space!  In this trip (and post) I also visit nearby Atco and Berlin Breweries.  If you’re heading out that way, might as well make the most of the trip!

The Atco Dragway has a contract purchaser for the property, who will be looking for approval on a “Change of use” request to an automobile storage and auction facility. This is according to comments in the May 2020 Pinelands’ Commission Meeting Minutes. Impacts to racing are unknown at this time. Hat-tip to Dragzine.com for the initial story.
