On August 25th the Gloucester Township Planning Board approved a new Lidl Grocery store which is planned for the Black Horse Pike in the Blackwood section of town. Earlier that same day the Lidl Corporate site published a press release of “Plans to add 50 new stores by end of next year. $500 million investment”, and Gloucester Township/Blackwood is listed.

All the signs are there… after 4-5 months of halted construction, the new Dave & Busters at the Gloucester (Township) Premium Outlets has construction crews back on site, presumably to finish the building ahead of an early fall Grand Opening.
The LIDL Supermarket company is proposing a 31,000 sq ft grocery on the Black Horse Pike in the Blackwood section of Gloucester Township. This is the third location proposed in Gloucester Township by LIDL. The newest location is that empty large lot at the corner of Black Horse Pike and Lakeland/Davistown Rd… diagonal from the Shoppes at Gloucester Township shopping center, most known by Sam’s Bar and Grille (and the new Dunkin Donuts).
An alert reader pointed us to a new Dollar General being developed within the existing Commerce Plaza on Blackwood-Clementon Road in Gloucester Township. The location is the more recently remodeled strip mall behind TD Bank and Dunkin Donuts (Lumpy’s BBQ is also located there). Dollar General will occupy the right side of the building, which has an angled corner entrance,

An express car wash is being planned for Cross Keys Rd where it intersects with New Brooklyn Erial Road. This is a second planned car wash on Cross Keys Rd. The listed street address will be 810 New Brooklyn-Erial Road. This project is also being reviewed in the Gloucester Township Zoning Board meeting on July 8th (the same day this article has been posted).
