The long awaited Cinder Bar Cross Keys location opened just over a month ago, and across the board patrons are Wow’d by the experience. Unlike the national chain eateries along Berlin Cross-Keys Road, Cinder Bar promotes an experience where effort is put into making every aspect of the experience fresh, local and hand crafted.

Urban Air Adventure Park is coming to Sicklerville/Gloucester Township, to be developed in a new building directly next to Hobby Lobby within the Shoppes at Cross Keys Shopping Center!
Three loooonnngg awaited stores along Berlin-Cross Keys Road opened in the last month! Royal Farms opened TWO stores with Berlin opening just days ago, and Johnson Road opening last month! The Aldi Supermarket set up shop behind the Panera Bread/Wendy’s stores at the Acme/Shop-rite intersection! Three Supermarkets at the intersection, plus Wawa and Target are close by!
Learning Center Day Care is the building going up behind the new Cinder Bar – Cross Keys, according to town Planning Board documents and their 2018 Town Fact Sheet. Interestingly, I can’t find any other information on the day care based on that name. No Facebook page, no website announcing “coming soon”.
The Cinder Bar – Cross Keys Facebook page made the official announcement this morning… they set an opening date for December 16th! They have also been posting interior photos on the page, and the place looks AMAZING! They really do have a great design team for the restaurants… hitting home runs in creating an “upscale casual” experience.
The TD Bank branch located at the busy corner of Rt 42 and Berlin-Cross Keys Rd (across from Sam’s) is closing on November 15th! By my count there are 4 branches in Washington Township and it could be argued that is too many, but the area along Berlin-Cross Keys has seen a lot of development lately with new apartments, Cinder Bar coming soon, Royal Farms and other businesses… isn’t it a little strange for TD Bank to decide now to leave?
