Open!  Burlington’s New Deptford Store in soft opening mode

While the official date is March 20th, I just bought a nice 5 pack of work “dress” socks at the brand new Burlington Store in Deptford, New Jersey!  Seems they’ve opened several days early (or the real opening is several days late), to give the employees a chance to get familiar with the systems and processes before the mad rush of first time shoppers hit.   (this is called a soft opening)

And I know the fans of 42Freeway won’t be going there early, right?

So its a nice, very bright store… arranged in one large square room with no interior dividers at all.  If you are taller than 5 ft you can basically see from end-to-end of every part of the store.

I’ve heard there is an upcoming friends and family discount night this week, but you need a coupon to receive the discounts.

The new store is located at the Court at Deptford on Almonesson Rd, which you may know better as the place where the original Sam’s Club was located… or where Red Lobster and Olive Garden are.
