The Glassboro Craft Beer Festival will be held at the Rowan Blvd Complex, in the “Glassboro Town Square” section on the Main St side of the complex.
First off, its an amazing opportunity to try a wide variety of craft beers; from your local favorites, to those further away that you don’t regularly get to! Honestly there are a few names on the list I am not familiar with and I know I will be visiting those breweries to learn… and taste… more!
Plus, the event features live music, vendors and food trucks within the festival fairgrounds!
It’s an amazing fun time for you and your friends… and in one of the best locations available in South Jersey. Glassboro’s Rowan Boulevard!
If you haven’t notice, I really don’t cover events in South Jersey simply because there’s so many awesome ones… as a one man show I really just don’t have the time to get to them.

Glassboro Craft Beer Festival – Rowan Boulevard
First off, are you familiar with the Rowan Blvd. complex? If you live in the South Jersey area and you haven’t been there… you’ve been missing out.
Rowan University, Glassboro and Nexus properties have created an awesome new “Main Street” shopping and restaurant destination featuring several restaurants, from casual eateries for sandwiches, snacks… specialty categories such as pierogies or ramen soup, to even larger restaurants with full bars and alcohol!
There are even fun activities to do including the Exit 4 Escape Room and the all new Nerd Street PC gaming facility.
On the Eastern end of the Boulevard (Main Street) is the open plaza area which is called Glassboro Town Square.
Glassboro has a series of events there particularly in the fall, including a car show and Italian festival.
And on September 23rd is the Glassboro Craft Beer Festival!
Right now the number of participating breweries is 56!
The way this works is with your ticket purchase you are given a commemorative sampling glass.
You can move about the festival area to the individual brewery setups… talk to the brewery owners and brewers, learn more about their breweries… And try their beers!
The general admission tickets run from 1:00 to 5:00 PM, and the VIP tickets get you in an hour earlier at noon (bonus hour means – no lines!). More details below.
And while craft beer is the star of the show… There’s so much more! Adding to the fun are food vendors and live music.
it’s good time to point out that the way New Jersey laws work with beer festivals… once you’re in the festival area and you leave, you are not allowed back in to the festival area.
So I mention this because the Rowan Blvd. complex has so many additional amazing restaurant options so let me give you the plan:
head to the Glassboro Craft Beer Festival and enjoy delicious beers, grab a bite to eat from the on site food vendors…
… and when the event ends at 5:00 PM it’s a 2 minute walk to a variety of dining options such as; Chickie and Pete’s, Lascala’s Fire, Mexican Mariachi, the Pierogie Place, Alumni Grill, Oishii Ramen and more!
General mission for the event is $60 and includes the tasting glass. You can access the festival from 1:00 to 5:00 PM
VIP admission offers an extra hour access to the festival starting at noon,and you receive a complimentary lanyard which will hold your cup while not in use! That bonus “no lines” hour, and you keep your hands free with the lanyard holder!
