Tang Asian Cuisine Audubon is Open!  All-You-Can-Eat is Back

Tang Asian Cuisine Audubon is Open!  All-You-Can-Eat is Back
Reading Time: 4 minutes

Tang Asian Cuisine all-you-can-eat buffet is open in Audubon NJ, taking over a building which was originally developed as a Golden Corral buffet, but had been closed for about nine years!

I stopped in today for a delicious lunch which focuses on Asian dishes but offers big variety of options. The diverse menu features a delicious mix of authentic Asian favorites, including sushi, ramen, Chinese dishes, and hibachi and even American options – there’s something for everyone!

They also offer American style items such as chicken wings, French fries, and even kielbasa.

The large 10,000 square foot building sits on the Black Horse Pike at the Merchant Street Intersection. Tang Asiaon is located directly next to Pep Boys, and is part of the larger Audubon Crossings shopping center which also includes Walmart, Ross, Marshalls, Sonic and more.

This is the second South Jersey location for Tang Asian cuisine, with another location opened previously in Vineland.

I have now had lunch in both locations and it’s amazing how similar the restaurants are in design.  Clearly the two original Golden Corral buildings were carbon-copies of each other and the folks at Tang Asian Cuisine developed their remodels as very similar duplicates.

The entrance to the restaurant is on the side and you enter into a large lobby area.

The design of the dining and buffet space is a very wide rectangle with seating both to the left and the right, on the front portion of the building.

There are four large buffet stations with most offering food options on either side of each station.

The back segment of the building is the kitchen area, and the open back wall offers additional stations with fresh sushi… which is made on site directly in front of the diners!

There is also a hibachi station here, where you choose from fresh raw ingredients including vegetables, beef, chicken and even raw eggs… and you hand your selections to the hibachi chef who cooks them up right in front of you.

It’s a custom created piping hot delicious meal!

Tang Cuisine also features dessert items including fresh fruit, cakes and even a soft serve ice cream machine.

Lunch pricing is in effect during the week (Mon-Fri) priced at $15.99 (adult) with children priced less based on age (10 and under).  There is no lunch discount pricing on weekends.

Dinner pricing starts during the week after 3:30, and the dinner price is in effect all-day Saturday and Sundays.  For adults the dinner price is $22.99.

While I have not had a dinner yet at Tang Asian cuisine, I am told they bring several more expensive entree items out for dinner… such as lobster!

Sodas/drinks are an extra charge and are provided by the wait staff.

I don’t really recall the Golden Corral buildings being so large but there is plenty of seating at Tang Asian Cuisine.  While I expect the restaurant to be very popular I think with the amount of seating and not having to wait for your food to be prepared (as its buffet)… I would think it would be rare that you would have a long wait for a table!

Food items range from many of the Asian food classics such as chicken and broccoli, beef pepper steak, sweet and sour chicken and more,

It seemed like a good amount of seafood options including crawfish, mussels, fish fillets, and steam shrimp, to name a few.

A variety of fruits and dessert items are also in the refrigerated buffet case including melons, pineapple, orange slices and a selection of cakes.

Sushi and sashimi are well represented and made fresh on site. While I do eat them both I don’t consider myself an expert… I found them to be delicious, and fresh.
