South Jersey’s third Raising Cane’s Chicken Finger restaurant opens on Route 70 in Cherry Hill, tomorrow Tuesday March 5th.

The location is in the Marketplace at Garden State Park shopping center, in a space at the front of the parking lot along Route 70, positioned in line with the Wegmans Supermarket.

Raising Cane’s is one of the fastest growing restaurant brands in America with 775+ restaurants in over 40 states, the Middle East and Guam.

The fast casual restaurant has “One Love”… delicious and fresh store made chicken fingers!   But they also offer a variety of  side items such as crispy french fries, delicious coleslaw and Texas toast.

And of course we can’t forget the signature “Cane’s Sauce” which customers use to dip their chicken fingers and French fries into.

Two South Jersey locations are already opened for Raising Cane’s; Burlington and Marlton (which is also on Route 70). A fourth location is set to open next month in Deptford NJ, the first of several to be developed in Gloucester County.

Construction progress of Raising Cane’s Cherry Hill

To celebrate opening day at Cherry Hill, Raising Cane’s is hosting a variety of activities for the community, including:

  • A “Lucky 20” drawing to award 20 Customers (age 13 and older) Free Cane’s for a Year! Entries will be accepted from 7 to 8 a.m., with the drawing taking place at 8:30 a.m. Customers must be present to win and will be counted with a hand stamp (one per person).
  • A ribbon-cutting will take place at 8:10 a.m. featuring Cherry Hill Mayor David Fleisher and representatives from the Camden County Chamber of Commerce.
  • At 8:20 a.m., Raising Cane’s will present donation checks to the Sixers Youth Foundation as part of the Restaurant’s commitment to active community involvement. Since 2015, the Sixers Youth Foundation — the non-profit affiliate of the NBA’s Philadelphia 76ers — has used the power of basketball and the influence of the 76ers brand to inspire future generations in the communities where their fans live, work and play.
  • Boomer the Thunderbird, mascot for the Trenton Thunder of the MLB Draft League, will be on-site to entertain the crowd from 7:30 – 9:30 a.m.
  • Doors will officially open at 9 a.m.
  • From 4 to 6 p.m., the Cherry Hill High School Cheer Team will share their hometown spirit by performing for attendees.

Raising Canes Opens – The Experience

As mentioned Raising Cane’s is already open in Burlington and Marlton.

While I don’t have an interior preview look of the Cherry Hill location, last month on my birthday I visited the Burlington location… and the Cherry Hill interior is basically a twin. (Burlington Visit)

One thing I’ve realized with Raising Cane is while they can change up the store design for different locations, there is a consistent style and set of features which carry throughout all.

The “One Love” theme is consistent across all locations, as is the large “bursting through the wall” Raising Cane’s logo graphic.

A fun and interesting idea is they put 3 mirrored balls in every location, which just gives the dining area a fun party effect throughout the space.

Mix in a variety of seating including high top tables, traditional tables and booths…   it makes for an interesting and fun dining experience!

The Cherry Hill restaurant offers a covered outdoor patio area.

Another signature aspect of the Raising Cane’s stores is they incorporate the local community into the wall decorations, including old yearbooks from area schools and photos from the local community.

The Cherry Hill dining room features vintage local high school yearbooks from Camden Catholic High School (1960) and Haddon Township High School (1964) as well as graphics highlighting South Jersey natives such as actresses Ali Larter and Cristin Milioti, singer-songwriter Toby Lightman, and actress and model Lauren Cohan
