Several readers have been commenting and messaging about the construction taking place at the former Bob Evans restaurant, which sat in the front of the Target parking lot on the Black Horse Pike. Many thought that considering the restaurant was not that old, another eatery was expected… and when it was demolished it really raised speculation as to what it would be.
So far we can let readers know that Mattress Warehouse has half of the new building.
Washington Township meeting minutes indicate the approvals were based simply on a 5 store strip center, with no details of tenants.
But leasing pages on the internet give an indication that half of the location is a Mattress Warehouse store.
The Metro Commercial property listing shows that 5,200 of the 10,000 sq foot new building is still available to lease, and the linked PDF shows that Mattress Warehouse is the first official tenant taking almost half of the building
This intersection will soon become a hot area, as it is also the location (across the street) for a new Lidl supermarket and other stores.
