A few weeks ago, the beautiful Rowan Boulevard retail district in Glassboro closed down their main road to set up large tents on the street for outdoor dining! The commercial district is loaded with delicious restaurants to choose from, and not having the cars driving through adds a nice serenity to the experience.
Today (Friday Aug 21), Rowan Blvd is “turning it up to 11” with a Summer Fest event! The awesome band TK and The Howlers will be performing at Town Square starting at 5pm* and the event Facebook page says music will be all along the street (I saw a post that Jay Gentile is performing at La Scala)
If you haven’t been to Rowan Boulevard, it really is amazing what Rowan and Nexus Properties have put together! A main street feel with a modern twist… but building it is actually the easy part! They’ve done an amazing job finding awesome tenants and restaurants… with three serving alcohol PLUS a brewery.
Many great reasons to check out Rowan Blvd’s new dining tents, and to stop in tonight and check out TK and the Howlers!
