A Burger King restaurant is planned for the 5-Points intersection (Egg Harbor Road) in Washington Township, to be located next to the delayed and still to be developed new Super Wawa. They will be appearing before the Washington Township Planning Board on September 7th at 6pm.

Columbia Care is opening up its Cannabist brand of medical marijuana dispensaries in Deptford New Jersey. The signage is already up at the Clements Bridge Road location! A December 2020 ordinance made this medical marijuana location allowed, but the town recently passed another ordinance targeted at prohibiting additional marijuana businesses.
The Irish Hill Tavern is taking over the former Vault Restaurant property on Clements Bridge Road in Runnemede. New Owner Ed Donohue is just weeks away from finishing the renovations, which include a new covered patio area, and interior bar renovations. But Ed wants everyone to know the Tavern is OPEN during the remodel. You can come in now for a cold beer and delicious food.. just remember to come back in a month!
The Washington Township Planning Board will hear proposals on Tuesday August 3rd at 6pm, for two new multi-family housing developments. One project will cross into Gloucester Township and have a commercial component also, with one aspect of it identified as a new Pharmacy.
