Construction crews are back at the Chick-fil-A site on the White Horse Pike in Barrington NJ, with lot curbing in place and driveway asphalt put down just a few days ago! Is this a sign that it’s finally “full steam ahead?”

The LIDL Grocery store chain seems to be moving forward with a location on the White Horse Pike in Somerdale, based on real estate purchase documents filed with Camden County just weeks ago.
A big Stratford NJ “Bradlees” update! We’ve learned that the long planned Royal Farms is set to start construction in April 2021. The Dollar General recently opened. Tim Horton’s Foundation has started construction… and the town leaders are NOT happy with the change of plans for the core Bradlees property to County use, and seemingly have blocked it successfully! Last year we were all surprised by the news that Canadian Coffee and Donut shop Tim Hortons was planning on coming to the White Horse Pike in Stratford NJ. This week the town of Stratford is boldly saying that construction will start within the week, and it will take 4 months to build. Article includes my rambling thoughts on Tim Hortons and coffee in our area.
Dollar Tree is moving into the recently closed Lindenwold Walgreen’s, located in the corner of the massive Patco parking lot. This is a relocation of their nearby Somerdale store. Many will remember the Walgreens Patco address years ago was home to the Pufferbelly restaurant!Â
Camden County’s Habitat for Humanity organization is opening their second ReStore location in Lawnside NJ, in the Shop-Rite shopping center. Specifically 10,000 sq ft of space which was previously Fashion Bug.  They are targeting a product mix of new and gently used items in Home Furnishings, Home Decor and Housewares. The Oriental Palace restaurant will be ReStore’s next-door neighbor.
