The new At Home store coming to Turnersville’s old The Dump location, is showing significant signs of progress and remodeling. It appears they will be removing the tell-tale angular Jefferson Ward/Bradlees front entrance. We believe they are targeting an opening ahead of this year’s holiday season.

Foundation work has been in progress for many months at the corner of Fish Pond and Hurfville-Crosskeys Rd across from the Bloomers Garden Center in Washington Twp (Sewell). Simply, it will be three office buildings (at least two of them partially medical based), but at this time we aren’t aware of any specific tenants.
More exciting news for Washington Township (Sewell), as Dorrego Strong Cafe is coming to the Southeast corner of town and moving in next to Bobby Chez… taking over the empty half of the building which once housed Classic Cakes. We reached out to family representative Floyd who gives us the rundown on what’s in store for the new cafe! Read on!
On Sunday June 2nd, Mark from 42Freeway was a guest on area podcast “Small Bites”. While it’s an hour long radio podcast show, I was featured in the first 10 minutes of the show… so if you want to jump ahead to listen follow the link in the article to the show page to stream or listen via an app. I talk some history of my blogging, Bellmawr’s Bass Pro Shops, new restaurants in Washington Township, future plans for the site and more.
Factory Donuts started out as a Philadelphia based, cake-style custom crafted donut shop, and they are expanding their presence with a new location in Washington Twp. The new store will be located in the Fries Mill Plaza, in the right side of the building which at one time was home to a Rite-Aid. The old drive-thru window is still there, and 42 Freeway has a message in to Factory Donuts to see if they plan on using that window for Donut orders.
Washington Township gets another exciting new locally owned restaurant with the opening of 373 American Grill this week on Egg Harbor Road in Sewell (Washington Township), NJ. Their name is a combination of the address… and that they are serving a variety of American food offerings ranging from sandwiches and pizza, to full gourmet entrees including filet mignon, shrimp & linguine and more! The location is across from Shop-rite in the same small strip shopping center which many recognize as where Liscio’s Bakery and Philly Pretzel are located.
