Two exciting new dining options for Washington Township are getting close to opening, and the are actively hiring right now! Chipotle and First Watch are finishing up construction on Egg Harbor Road, at the Acme Shopping Center. We don’t have the date yet as to when they are opening, but it looks like Chipotle will be opening first. Job links in the article.

In 2002 the Wegmans Supermarket company made a major commitment to Washington Township, by purchasing 30 acres of land on Watson Drive for $4.6 million. The Metro Commercial site features the property… 30 acres directly behind the Lowes Home Improvement store… with an asking price of $5 million.

Deptford’s own John Eichenberg has just opened the Turnersville location of Crab Du Jour Xpress!  Located right on the Black Horse Pike / Rt 42 in the former Wendy’s building.  They are offering a variety of seafood items (and other) from fried baskets and po’ boy sandwiches, to full seafood boils!  The core of this post is Mark’s experience video… “Unboxing” and eating!

Dollar Tree is returning to it’s exact same former location on Egg Harbor Rd Washington Township, next to Rita’s Water Ice!  The vacant 10,000 sq ft store was most recently Township Produce. Management is hoping for a September 2020 opening!

The Dollar General Domination grows, as they continue their South Jersey expansion with plans to build a store on Delsea Drive, Washington Township…  very close to the Five Points Intersection. The developers will appear at the July 13th Zoning Meeting.

A new 4,600 sq ft car wash is being proposed in Washington Township, taking over the location of the closed Burger King on the South side of the Black Horse Pike (next to Chick-fil-a).  The developers will be appearing at a township planning board hearing seeking final site plan approval for the car wash.
