Crave Cookies opened very recently in the heart of Pitman’s Downtown…well they call it Uptown! We stopped in last weekend and tried out to their delicious baked goods! We also popped in on nearby Gentle Giant Vegan Cafe who opened not too long ago!

Merryman’s Pub has opened in the heart of Pitman’s downtown area, with an amazing restoration of the 100+ year old Pitman National Bank Building! Well for right now “open” means they are serving up delicious To-Go offerings of Cocktails, Packaged Goods and select Food items. Merryman’s Pub is Pitman’s first full bar in what was historically a dry town! See gallery in the article!
Cloud10 car wash is scheduled to open in March on Woodbury-Glassboro Road in Sewell, next to Rite-Aid and the newer “Clancy’s” Super Wawa is at the nearby intersection. The Pitman/Glassboro exit of Rt 55 is very close (53)
Pitman’s downtown will get another boost later this year when Merryman’s Pub sets up shop in the 112 year old Pitman National Bank building on Broadway. The building has been empty for years, has been completely gutted, and will require a full interior rebuild. As one would expect from a Pub they will have a full bar in a slightly unique licensing arrangement.
Neck of the Woods Brewing Company in Pitman NJ is targeting a late April, early May opening! The unique location is within the massive Total Turf indoor athletic facility on Lambs Rd, which attracts 80,000 people a month. NOW Brewing are a great group of local guys, with a unique twist on the brewing process… the beer served from the tasting room taps comes directly from the brewing tanks!
