Today Governor Murphy announced that indoor dining will not resume on Thursday (July 2nd), as he feels it is the greatest risk to increasing Covid cases, based on situations in other states.  In a separate social media post, he called out scenes in media and social media where it is clear people are not following distancing rules.

New Jersey Governor Murphy announced this morning that casinos may reopen at 25% capacity, as well as indoor dining in the state at 25% capacity! Considering the size of the casino gaming areas, and from my experience over the years… the 25% may not be a big restriction to normal operating levels at the casinos.

In today’s COVID-19 briefing by New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, he announced that New Jersey is entering Stage Two of the 3 stage plan.   In June we will see the re-opening of Outdoor Dining, Non-essential Retail can allow customers in, Salons and Barbershops will open… and Gyms and Fitness facilities are in close range to open.
