Mantua seems to be getting all the attention lately with posts! Now a new (updated) large 10 acre project is being promoted by Soloff Realty for Woodbury Glassboro Road. The project will feature retail buildings placed prominently along the roadway for maximum visibility, and medical/office buildings in the rear. Dunkin has already signed on.

Construction has started on a new Autozone building to be located in the parking lot of the closed K-Mart store on Rt 45 in Mantua, at the end closest to Rite-Aid. This is one of several new Autozone stores for the area, and we’ll have more posts this week on additional locations. This Mantua location was approved in October 2019.
The closed K-Mart being at the Toll House Plaza Center on Bridgeton Pike in Mantua, is proposed to become a 98,000 sq ft indoor self-storage facility. The center owners/developer will appear before the Mantua Planning Board on July 21st at 7pm, asking for “Interpretation of permitted commercial establishments allowed in a shopping center” as well as other requests.
A Dollar General store is being developed in a brand new building, to be located behind the new “Clancy’s” Super Wawa on Woodbury Glassboro Road. The location for the new Dollar General is actually off of Lambs Rd and was previously a bank, which was demolished. It seems this will be developed on a new access road behind Wawa which will lead to a new retail development on the other side of Wawa.
