One month ago today, Shana's Wild Fig Restaurant opened on the Black Horse Pike in the Historic Blackwood Downtown district. Owner Shana Mastranduono is so local she grew up in Blackwood and is a Highland High School graduate!! Shana has a very diverse culinary background and she carries that into her regularly changing menu. Italian, American, Mexican, Asian and more... she loves to bring her creativity to her dishes.
Ed Forler is Dave and Buster's Vice President of Operations, which seems to have him involved in all aspects of D&B new store roll-outs and when necessary, being a public voice for the company. This article is a quick read 20 questions style interview with Ed, where he talks about the new location coming to Gloucester Township, the Philadelphia location, their competition with Round 1... and more importantly, Ed's connection to the Delaware Valley. He has Eagles Season Tickets!
It's been widely reported that the Dave and Busters coming to Gloucester Premium Outlets is opening Spring 2020. But no one knows when the Round One venue at the Deptford Mall will be opening... until now. 42Freeway has literally translated the Round One Japanese Quarterly earnings report to get the expected opening date for the Deptford Mall store, and it's surprising. Also, this is a two-part post as we interviewed a Dave and Busters Executive who knows the business and our area, and I should be posting that Friday!
A second location of Primitive Axe opens this weekend in Blackwood's Gloucester Premium Outlets! "Soft" opening is this weekend starting with Friday, June 7th, and carrying on through the weekend! I'm mostly going to let owner Adam and his video commentary do all the work on this one! Check out the video in the article. As mentioned, this is the second location with the first one located on Rt 47 in Glassboro NJ!
