William Heritage Winery Mullica Hill Opens Renovated Indoor Seating Area!

William Heritage Winery Mullica Hill Opens Renovated Indoor Seating Area!
Reading Time: 4 minutes

The popular William Heritage Winery of Mullica Hill has just completed an exciting renovation, converting their former patio area into a beautiful indoor temperature controlled seating area! Table-side wine tastings, wine by the glass and their “light bites” food items can be enjoyed in this new space!

You can purchase wine during operating hours, but reservations are required to sit at William Heritage Winery… and can be done easily via their website!

William Heritage Winery is located at 480 Mullica Hill Road (also known as Rt 322), in Mullica Hill.  From Route 55 you can take exit 50 and travel just one mile West on Rt 322, to the winery.

Plus they are also in the process of expanding their Haddonfield Tasting Room too!

New Modern Rustic Indoor Seating Area!

Mark from 42Freeway is a William Heritage Wine Club member and has been watching the construction progress over the months.

Don’t get me wrong.. the patio area was very nice, with a roof and an awesome open air setting.

We’ve heard several acoustic musicians perform there!

But this is New Jersey, with hot summers and cold winters… so the open air aspect had limited months in the year when it was fully usable.

With the new enclosed remodel, the winery can really extend into a comfortable “12 months of the year” seating arrangement.

The exterior walls are basically all glass, with large windows to let the natural light in.

And when the weather allows…  they open up to let in the fresh breezes!  Amazing how windows work, huh? 🙂

The Modern Rustic design is achieved by redoing every surface in the room, with the modern white and grey color scheme along the building side, and the more rustic exposed wood planks around the perimeter wall.

It truly creates a very comfortable place to enjoy some of South Jersey’s best wines!

Reservations Required

We already covered this in the intro, but worth touching on again.

Current mandates put limits on indoor seating, and have also made outdoor spaces such as the William Heritage lawn seating.. very popular.

While you can visit the winery at any time during their operating hours to purchase wine, if you want to sit in any of the seats.. indoor or outdoor… you will need a reservation.

Well this is as of Today, April 27th.  Best to just hop over to the William Heritage Website and get all the details.  Reservations can be made online!

About William Heritage Winery

The William Heritage Winery traces their roots back to 1999, when Bill and Penni Heritage started cultivating their first grapes!

This was a time when the South Jersey Winery industry was just emerging, and the Heritage family has been a big part of the region’s success!

What started out as 150 acres of peach and apple orchards, has today grown into an award winning wine powerhouse.

Haddonfield Tasting Room

William Heritage also recently opened up a wine tasting room in Haddonfield New Jersey.

The space is located at 127 Kings Highway E, directly across from the British Chip Shop.

While the Haddonfield tasting room is a smaller version of the full winery, they entire product line is available to purchase.

For all of the same reasons, the Haddonfield Tasting Room also requires reservations.

William Heritage announced on March 19th at their Facebook page, that an adjoining storefront became available… and they’ve started the work to convert that space into more Haddonfield Tasting Room seating!  More on that to come!

William Heritage Haddonfield is also expanding!!

William Heritage Wine Club

When you visit, ask for details on their Wine Club.

The basic premise is, each quarter a collection of wines are put together (matching the season) and are made available for pickup at either of the locations.

The cost can vary per selection, but they’ve established a maximum cost.

There are currently two Club types; Estate and Red.

While I am an expert on drinking wine… I am not an expert on wine itself nor the William Heritage wine club!

Stop in and ask, or check the website page.

Events!

And don’t forget to keep up on their events!

As you would expect, reservations are required.

You can check their website for the latest event details, or be sure to follow their Facebook Page!
