I hope you had an awesome Thanksgiving and found some great shopping deals! But the day after Black Friday is… SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY! Perfect time to go out and support the smaller local, family owned businesses and restaurants.

And no town embodies that local small business experience than Pitman and it’s Uptown Shopping district.

They have a full weekend of festive fun, entertainment and savings! Weather permitting.

Crave Cookies offers fresh in house baked good! And they are expanding!

Saturday morning offers extra discounts for shoppers as from 11am-1pm at the Borough Hall they will be selling discounted “Pitman Bucks” which can be used in numerous Pitman businesses.

Also, recently the Pitman Economic Development group put together a promotional video to highlight what makes the town and the local shopping experience of Pitman a worthwhile experience… it’s like walking back in time to a by gone era! Video is at the bottom of the post.

If you haven’t been to Pitman in several years… it truly is an amazing success story!

The Uptown shopping and restaurant district has has a complete renaissance with restaurants, stores, craft places bakeries and more.

It really is a perfect blend of different stores to shop, browse and even grab a beer or martini!

Even small town clothing retailers have found a successful home in Pitman which is something you really don’t see or experience any longer in most towns.

It’s like stepping back into 1954!

Oh and yes the famous Hagerty Pitman Grove Christmas lights return for 2022! (Weather permitting. Facebook). Things can get busy on the weekends at Hagerty’s so plan your visit for during the week.

Lucia’s Cafe opened earlier this year. Delicious and healthy, with amazing gelato and cannoli!
I closed my evening last night at Kelly Green Brewery. Thought I was stopping in for one, and it tuned into a couple as I met some awesome folks at the brewery… just had great time chatting and laughing!
