Platinum Signature Suites is a new luxury suite-based salon which is coming soon to Turnersville Washington Township, taking over the space which was previously a Sun Bank. The building is currently undergoing a full remodel to make it one of the most beautiful salons in our area!

The 42Freeway messages and emails have been lighting up for months “What’s going on at the Sun Bank? Who is moving in at the old bank next to Aldi?”

We figured out who the new owner was months ago but we weren’t exactly clear on the full plans until recently when we spoke to the owner and other staff… and even toured the under-remodel building 2 weeks ago… and we are sharing those details now.

We see this as a very nice reuse of a closed building. A common complaint of readers with new projects is “Why are they building new when there are so many empty buildings?”. Well here ya go… an example of smart reuse!

Turnersville is the first of what is planned to be multiple area locations for Platinum Signature Suites in the counties of Gloucester, Camden and Burlington.

They will be sized at 125 sq ft and larger, with rent starting as low as $300 per week.

Stylists will have 24/7 access via Key Fob entry, with Surveillance

Each suite has its own individual climate control!

A central wifi lounge and charging stations will be available.

Laundry services will be on-site.

Salon Suite Business Model For Stylists

The Salon Suite model is exploding across the country. It has numerous benefits for enterprising stylists who want full control of their business, their product offerings, schedule, profits and more… without having to build a full salon themselves.

And for the customer it provides a more private one-on-one experience with their stylist.

Sure the stylist is paying rent for that space, but with a suite rental based model the stylist takes in all of the revenue!

To me it’s a specialized extension of the coworking office space concept that has taken hold in the country.
