Platinum Signature Suites has acquired the former Fulton Bank Administration Building at 450 Bridgeton Pike in Mantua, and will be converting it into their latest salon suite location.

The building is located next to the legacy Wawa on the Bridgeton Pike. Already banners are hanging at the property “Now Leasing”, and it appears crews are on site starting initial conversion work.
“Salon Suites” are a newer business category in New Jersey, having only been legalized by New Jersey in 2020.
Platinum Signature Suites quickly established themselves as a leader in the South Jersey Salon Suite category when they opened their first location in Washington Township in 2022.
They have subsequently opened another location in Marlton, and it appears they will be also developing a location in Deptford.
The Mantua location is indicated as opening this Fall but the new Deptford location is stated to be opening soon… Summer 2025! I do not know where that location is being developed but I will be following up with ownership.
The business model for the salon suites category is to offer stylists a means of branching out into their own business but with less risks and initial capital investments. Stylist owners can lease units which typically offer a fitted-out salon space that perfectly fits their needs, including core salon items such as salon chair(s), worktops, mirrors and more.
Platinum Signature Suites also offers shared services such as a beautiful main lobby entrance, product store, central laundry room and more!

For the upcoming Mantua location, it is located directly next to the legacy Wawa on Bridgeton Pike (Rt 45) close to the traffic signaled intersection.\
It was just the end of February when the Platinum team acquired the 18,000 square foot former commercial office building, and already crews are on site starting the process of the conversion to Platinum Signature Suites.
Interestingly, the first location for the brand in Turnersville was a conversion of a former large bank branch. The end result of that remodel was an absolutely beautiful and luxurious… clearly the team knows what it takes to create an amazing salon suite experience!
For the Turnersville conversion I was able to visit during the actual remodeling process and then I came back for the Grand Opening to see the amazing build-out!
In that first visit during construction I saw that the team had completely gutted the building down to bare floors and exterior walls, which enabled them to create a space perfectly suited to the salon suite customers.
And it was amazing to return several months later to the Turnersville location for the grand opening to see the high-end remodel that they had developed featuring a variety of sized lawn suites in different sizes… as well as shared spaces including a employee break room.
Every aspect of the design just spoke to a higher-end salon experience. While I am not really well versed on the leasing details at all, my understanding is Platinum Signature Suites their business model allows them to offer the best amenities in the business, and a very competitive rate.

In summary, they offer glass-fronted suites with already in-place stylish chairs, desktop surfaces, mirrors and more.
Each unit offers individual suite stylist-controlled HVAC, central vacuum system for air, shared laundry room, relaxation area, bathrooms and more. Stylist even have 24 access to the facility!
