It was just last year that Pet Check opened their first Urgent Care Dog and Cat Veterinarian center in Washington Township New Jersey, and now they are branching out to a Deptford location!
Pet Check Urgent Care is an veterinarian office catering towards urgent care… but also wellness care. They are open 7 days a week (12 hour days) and appointments are not needed!
For the upcoming Deptford location, construction has already started at the former Payless Shoes building on Clements Bridge Road near the Almonesson Road intersection to add the waiting area, offices, exam rooms and more! We are told the signage goes up on Monday!
We’ve been in touch with Management, and they are targeting a January 2021 opening (we’ll have more on that as it gets closer!)
Some additional specifics on the location… between Adelphia’s Restaurant and the traffic light there are three smaller buildings, and the one in the middle (next to DXL Big & Tall) was the Payless store, and is the location for the new Pet Check. Access is from Clements Bridge Rd and there is also a side entrance from Almonesson Road! The AMC theaters are located behind the store.

All of this information is based on the Washington Township location, and I would expect it to carry through for the new Deptford location!
There are no Emergency Fees! All offices visits are $59 no matter when or why you visit!
While not a 24 hour facility, they are open 7 days a week from 9am to 9pm! Those are very accommodating hours!
The emergency care veterinarians have experience and expertise handling conditions such as:
- Minor lacerations, wounds, or burns
- Nail or pad injuries
- Skin conditions or allergic reactions
- Scooting and/or licking
- Limping
- Possible fractures
- Ear infections
- Eye problems
- Urine or stool issues
- Coughing and sneezing
- Vomiting or diarrhea
- Loss of appetite
- and more!
