Kung Fu Tea Turnersville has opened in Washington Township, at the Cross Keys Commons shopping center (across from Walmart).
They are America’s largest bubble tea brand with over 350 locations across the USA. Locally they have locations at Rowan Boulevard in Glassboro, two in Cherry Hill and a location In Cinnaminson.
As one of the original bubble tea brands in the USA (started in 2010), Kung Fu tea has significant experience in creating a product of uncompromisingly high standards and innovative flavors.
And their menu seems extensive!
All of their teas are brewed in the stores with the highest quality teas. Even the juices are freshly squeezed in the store!
They are also offering colorful macarons in a variety of flavors!
The new Turnersville location is located to the left of Dollar Tree, and is one store way from the recently opened Norman’s Hallmark.
Kung Fu Tea locations are franchised, and locally the new Turnersville location as well as the Cinnaminson location are owned and operated by two brothers.
I caught up with one of the brothers yesterday in Turnersville, who gave me an overview of the new bubble tea location… and I got to try a delicious Sunshine Pineapple Tea!

42Freeway first brought news of Kung Fu Tea coming to Washington Township back in August of last year.
In that article we also announced that Crumbl Cookies was coming to the same shopping center. They are actively under construction, and the exterior signage is up.
A new Norman’s Hallmark store has also opened in the same center!
Kung Fu Tea – Turnersville
The new Turnersville location is bright and colorful with attractive wall décor, signage and an open counter/prep area.
The new location even offers seating inside, including padded bench seating along the wall.
The menu is extensive at Kung Fu tea, with nine categories of beverages as well as a “What’s New” classification to quickly see the new and innovative drinks that they offer.
Their “Best Sellers” page on the website highlights a variety of most popular drinks and styles including milk teas, punches, milk caps, classic teas, slushes, milk strike, and seasonal specials.
Each of the categories offers innovative flavors including Winter Melon Milk Tea, Mango Green Tea, Cocoa Cream Wow, Longan Jujube Tea, and an Oreo Slush!
If you’re reading through some of the categories and recipes you’re probably seeing something that no other bubble tea outlet is offering!
Two names that jumped out at me:
- A Milk Cap Tea features a thick layer of their subtly salty milk cap!
- Milk Strike is the signature Kung Fu tea flavors paired with freshly cooked Wow bubbles and lactose free milk.
I tried the Sunshine Pineapple tea which is part of their punch series.
I chose that because I couldn’t decide between a sweeter fruit drink experience or a caffeine based product. Sunshine Pineapple was a deliciously refreshing drink that scored high marks in both categories.
Kung Fu Tea also offers a rewards program. Check it out online, ask in the store.. or download the app to your phone.
Kung Fu Tea – Macarons
Also in stock at the Turnersville location are macarons.
While not featured on their website, they are presented at the Kung Fu tea Facebook pages.
The small dessert cakes with cream filling come in a variety of flavors including vanilla, birthday cake, pistachio, coconut and more.
They are a colorful and tasty treat that makes a perfect match for your bubble tea drink, or as a special treat to bring home to the kids!
