Green Leaf Wellness Dispensary Coming To Williamstown at Popular Intersection

Green Leaf Wellness Dispensary Coming To Williamstown at Popular Intersection
Reading Time: 3 minutes

Green Leaf Wellness dispensary is coming to Williamstown NJ at the busy intersection of Black Horse Pike and Sicklerville Rd.

The property for Green Leaf Wellness dispensary previously featured several auto-related businesses and is located at a prime intersection corner next to McDonald’s (and across from Geets Diner).

Many longtime locals remember the corner property as the original home to “A-Jacks Towing” and in their posts and questions to me just naturally reference the property by that name.    (A-Jack’s Towing is still successfully operating but at a different location on tuckahoe Rd)

Green Leaf Wellness Dispensary is coming to Williamstown, Refurbishing a former auto business building

Earlier this year construction fencing went up around the “under construction” property and some cleanup work took place on the building… which when you add in its location on the prime intersection of Williamstown, it got a lot of attention from locals and 42Freeway readers.

And when my message box started lighting up earlier this year from readers asking about it, I literally had no idea what was coming!

Somehow I had missed the Monroe Township Planning Board meeting from the fall.  I even went as far as to stop in at the borough offices where an employee told me it was a dispensary coming in but I had no details on who… or what the plans were for the property, such as; is it a full new rebuild or were they going to reuse the existing building?!

The Planning Board minutes were posted earlier this year and recently I found the website for the Green Leaf Wellness Dispensary.  Yesterday I had a chance to speak with a member of the management team.

Rendering of the upcoming Green Leaf Wellness Dispensary, Williamstown NJ

Green Leaf Wellness – Williamstown

Green Leaf Wellness was founded by a group of childhood friends who grew up in an entrepreneurial environment, where their families were all self-employed business owners.

The friends talked for years about starting a business together and when the legalization of cannabis in New Jersey was approved, they all decided that it was the business space they wanted to be in.

The upcoming dispensary is a certified woman owned company, and the lifelong friends who have found individual success on their own as adults… have pulled their talents together to form the full management team.

Known locally as the original A-Jacks Towing company, this Williamstown NJ property will be fully remodeled and expanded into Green Leaf Dispensary.

One of the big questions from locals is “are they tearing the building down or repurposing it?

Green Leaf will be utilizing the existing building, of course doing a major remodel of the space… as well as adding a 617 square foot addition in the rear.

If you look at the provided renderings you can still see the original core structure of the former A-Jacks towing building, but in a beautifully redeveloped building. The front corner entrance door will remain (but widened) and the garage bays will be converted into large floor to ceiling windows.

The development will accommodate 34 parking spaces and will have several access points from South Black Horse Pike, Sicklerville Road and Rutgers Rd.

A former auto-business building in Williamstown will be remodeled into the Green Leaf Wellness dispensary

Sidewalks are proposed along the three main sides; Rutgers, Sicklerville and the Black Horse Pike roadways.

The property will have a full security system and on site security staff. In total they expect to have about 12 employees overall.

Regarding the opening date, currently the website shows Summer 2024 as an estimated opening timeframe, but in my conversation with the management team yesterday I was told they’re looking for a Spring 2025 opening now.
