Golden Pho Vietnamese Restaurant opens in Washington Township. Formally Pho Eden Cherry Hill

Golden Pho Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine has opened in Washington Township, at the Cherry Tree Crossing Plaza on Hurffville-Cross Keys Rd… directly between the popular Hudah Babylon Bagels and Tuscan Bistro.

I stopped in yesterday to check out the new restaurant, and I met up with owner Dan and his wonderful staff.

Golden Pho Vietnamese Cuisine – Washington Township

Golden Pho is in “soft opening “ phase which means you can stop in now for delicious Vietnamese cuisine, but they celebrate their Grand Ppening Friday October 4th at 10:30 AM. I believe Washington Township representatives will be on hand for the official ceremony.

My schedule yesterday did not support me staying for lunch but I did try their delicious Vietnamese Coffee which includes condensed milk and cream. I hope to be back very soon… I am a big fan of pho soup and Banh Mi hoagies!

This new Vietnamese restaurant offers a significant menu with many dozens of options. Beyond pho soup the menu includes Banh Mi hoagies, lettuce wraps, Vermicelli, a long list of appetizers choices and a big selection of coffees and teas… such as milk, fruit, boba and more.

A special “Weekend Items” section of the menu features a variety of stir-fried selections including the popular Drunken Noodle. Pad Thai, Lo Mein, Chicken Curry and more are also part of the bonus Friday Night, Saturday and Sunday menu.

The owner, chef and team recently operated the Pho Eden restaurant in Cherry Hill which was very popular, establishing a large following. Local Facebook page A View From Evesham broke the news in August of the Cherry Hill location closing, and plans to relocate to Washington Township under a new name. (Facebook)

For the new Washington Township location, most would know the shopping center as the “Goodwill Center”. Golden Pho has taken over the former space of Yoshimoto 2. To be very clear, the original Yoshimoto is still open in the Turnersville Walmart shopping center.

I chatted with Golden Pho owner Dan who says they did a full remodel of the Hurfville-Cross Keys Road space prior to opening, which features two dining sections… a main more casual and larger dining area with tables seating for four, as well as a slightly more private area side dining room area with larger round tables, which can seat up to 8 people each.

All aspects of the restaurant space are beautifully redone and it’s an attractive and comfortable dining room space

While I was remiss in getting their names, the two women who are the front-of-house serving team were very pleasant and accommodating to me… and both said they were very excited to be in Washington Township!

Golden Pho is open from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM Tuesday through Sunday… Closed on Mondays.
