A new CubeSmart brand storage facility has opened on Sicklerville Road in Gloucester Township.
The location is conveniently located near the Route 42 exit, and management is saying they are already seeing significant interest from area residents in leasing units, and are ahead of their early opening goals.
I stopped over recently to check out the facility and meet with the developer, Legacy Developers who are based out of Haddonfield NJ.
42Freeway first wrote about this facility back in June of 2022, but at that time it was known as Garden State Storage.
The developers have since decided to align with CubeSmart for the management of the facility, which gives them benefits in marketing, and a well developed website and mobile tech stack.
In terms of storage facilities this is a state-of-the-art project, offering both a very traditional outdoor pull up storage type unit as well as a three story climate controlled space.
All told the property is over 120,000 square feet, includes over 700 rental units, and has almost 100,000 square feet of rentable area.
The facility will bring a good tax ratable to the Township with minimal traffic impact, in comparison to other commercial establishments.
To the right of the developed property there is an undeveloped piece of land owned by Legacy, that will likely be made available to other potential businesses.

I was invited to the Grand Opening ribbon cutting ceremony earlier this month (video below), but I arrived later in the afternoon. The Legacy Developers team hung around to give me a private tour!
Let’s be honest we all understand the concepts of storage facilities, ha!
But this CubeSmart facility gives you a lot of options with choices of a traditional drive-up outdoor type units as well as indoor climate controlled units to store items that you’re more concerned about having temperature changes impacting them.
Pricing varies based on whether you’re unit is indoors or outdoors, first floor or upper floor units, and other factors
If you’re unsure of how long you’re staying you can even sign a month-to-month lease.
Looking at the location page at CubeSmart.com, it appears that if you book online first they’re giving discounted prices compared to if you had just walked into the store.

CubeSmart Sicklerville offers a mobile app for full access to your account… it can actually control your access into property’s gate and building entrance!
Customers can access their units every day from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
During daylight hours they offer onsite staff who are there to help you, and even sell basic storage products such as boxes and tape. The office is closed on Sundays. Check the website for specific office hours.
