A combo Cinnabon and Ginny’s Cookies & Cream store is opening at the Gloucester Premium Outlets in Blackwood NJ, in a prime location in the center court… directly next to Auntie Anne’s.
We’ve chatted with a member of the ownership team and if all the final steps come together as expected, they plan on opening next week!
Well very specifically they are hoping to be open on Monday September 20th, just in time for the start of the Holiday Shopping season.
The sweet delicious treats are enough to draw the crowds, but as a bonus the family behind these delicious stores… well they live right in the 42Freeway area! We’ve been chatting with one of the owners, Tim… who lives right in Washington Township!
If you’ve realized that this was the location of the Beef Jerky Outlet… have no fear because the Jerky Outlet is still in the outlets, and have relocated to a store across from Old Navy!
Cinnabon and Ginny’s Cookies & Cream
This new store announcement is really packing a lot into the space… it’s actually THREE eateries in one!
First they are offering the beloved Cinnabon cinnamon buns with their “oh my God, this is Heaven” cinnamon rolls and frosting. Seriously that alone is worth the trip!
Plus the store location will also feature a Ginny’s Cookies & Cream… which is TWO amazing food offerings. Fresh and hot cookies which are baked in store… AND delicious and fresh ice cream! Combine the two, and you end up with a cookie ice cream sandwich that is out of this world!
While Cinnabon is obviously a large national chain of franchise stores, owner Tim tells us that Ginny’s is their own brand, and this is their second location!

They hope to expand Ginny’s into more locations and possibly down the road… their own franchise company!
And let’s not forget, Auntie Anne’s pretzels is located next door to the new Cinnabon and Ginny’s!. In just a few dozen feet of store frontage in the Gloucester Premium Outlets… you literally have all the tasty food options you could need after a day shopping for bargains at the outlets!
This is a store combination that is also in place at the nearby Deptford Mall, and yes the Deptford stores are operated by the same family.
But let’s be honest… for the Gloucester Outlets, readers were shocked in early 2020 when the food court closed, leaving a Friendly’s Restaurant, Auntie Anne’s and a Starbucks as the only permanent places to find food. So adding Cinnabon and Ginny’s at the outlets should prove to be be a smart move!
Oh and of course now at the Outlets there is a Dave & Buster’s across the parking lot, but we expect Cinnamon buns, Cookies, Ice Cream and Pretzels to be VERY popular within the Outlets as shoppers are looking for a quick bite to eat.
Tim also tells us they family operates South Jersey’s first Jamba Juice franchise which is located in the Cherry Hill Mall next to the Apple Store! That location opened in the fall of 2020. Let’s hope we see a Jamba Juice make its way into the 42Freeway area!
