The new Chick-fil-A fast-food restaurant being developed on the White Horse Pike in Barrington is targeting a late June opening, and they are hiring now!
The address is 301 White Horse Pike, and they are across from the newer Super Wawa and Home Depot.
We visited the Barrington location last Saturday (May 8), and the core building was complete, signage was in place, concrete sidewalks and more were done.
Active construction was happening in the double drive-thru, and the building interior.
At the time they hadn’t put the final layer of asphalt down, but that may have changed in the last week. That’s a big final piece that will really make it look like a complete project!
The Bell Ave intersection has become a hot one over the years, as the White Horse Pike is a busy commuter road which connects to Route 295, and is very accessible from Barrington, Lawnside, Haddonfield and more.
At the intersection is a traffic signal, which at the four corners will now have the new Chick-fil-A, a somewhat recent Super Wawa, the Chuck Lager’s restaurant (formerly Wild Wings Cafe) and the Time Out Entertainment Bar.
We recently reported the the Time Out Bar is closing at the end of this month, and it is believed additional development is coming for that corner.
The intersection also features a large turn-around which loops around the Wawa.
Things have been developing so fast at this are of the White Horse Pike that the Google maps view still shows the dirt lots for Wawa and Chuck Lager restaurant, immediately ahead of when they were constructed.
This summer Barrington will also welcome a large new Tonewood Brewery, which we just posted an update on earlier this month. While we don’t have a date on their opening… it seems like we should expect Tonewood to open not to far after Chick-fil-a.
Hiring has started!

At their Facebook page yesterday they posted about one of the easiest ways to get an interview.. just go there!
They have a trailer located on the construction site, and they are offering walk-up interviews Monday-Saturday; 10am-4pm! (Facebook Post)

The drive thru will be a two lane drive-thru which is designed to move cars in and out very fast!
We all know Chick-fil-A is one of the most popular fast food destinations, and they are also leaders in how to optimize the flow of cars in and out of the drive-thru!
Bill Diaco and family also own the Audubon Chick-fil-A location, which they acquired in 2016.
The Barrington Location will be the family’s second store, and the first that the developed themselves.
While Chick-fil-A is a national chain.. they are franchised, and the Diaco family are very local… living in Sewell New Jersey!
Giving Back is important with Chick-fil-A, and in 2018, Bill and his Audubon store nominated the Cathedral Kitchen for the S.Truett Cathy True Inspiration award… and the Cathedral Kitchen was awarded $20,000!
