Famed foodie reporter Peter Genovese of NJ.com ranked this South Jersey shop as the #2 cheesesteak in the entire State, and now sandwich gurus Brynn Bradley will be relocating from Woodbury later this year to a larger location 3 miles up the road in Woodbury Heights.
They are targeting a September 1st opening at the new location!
The upcoming new location is in the College Square shopping center, which was most notably known for the large Esporta fitness gym which very recently closed. Penn Medicine also maintains a large facility in the center, and a freestanding Starbucks sits in the front parking lot.
The new unit for Brian Bradley was previously home to Summit Bakery which closed last summer. At 2,600 square feet the new space should give Brynn Bradley room to expand all aspects of their growing sandwich shop…kitchen, counter area and let’s hope there is space for customer seating!
The news of this relocation comes Harriet Summers of commercial real estate company Feinberg & McBurney. F&M was the sole broker on the transaction.
We are delighted to announce that the former bakery space has been LEASED long term to Brynn Bradley Cheesesteaks/Catering. Brynn Bradley is currently operating and located in Woodbury, NJ.
This 2,662 sq. ft. space will accommodate this tenants current and growing needs. With co-tenants like Penn Medicine and Starbucks, this was a perfect fit for an award winning sandwich shop. (brynnbradley.com) and I couldn’t be more excited about the addition to this vibrant community.

Brynn Bradley Woodbury (Moving to Woodbury Heights)
Chef Matt Hartnett opened Brynn Bradley in 2020 in a small brick building on Broad Street, caddy-corner from the Colonial Diner.
The current sandwich restaurant operates in a small brick building which is situated close to the busy roadway. With a focus on the sandwiches, its very nice and functional space focused on making amazing food… with room only for a few chairs and a small counter area along the window.
That being said they do have space to set up some tables out front, giving it a sidewalk cafe vibe.
The menu features a variety of tasty dishes including chicken “parm” sandwiches, a variety of hoagies.. clearly the signature item at Brynn Bradley are their cheesesteaks.
I mentioned this at the start of the article, but if you aren’t familiar with Peter Genovese of NJ.com, he is their Statewide foodie journalist who travels the entire state trying delicious and interesting restaurants… and frequently putting together “best in the state” list.
Soon after opening just a few years ago, Brian Bradley caught his attention and they have been making it onto his “New Jersey’s best cheesesteaks” list for a few years now.
In the recent 2024 (April) NJ.com update, he lists the 39 best cheese steaks in New Jersey… five of the top six spots are restaurants in Camden and Gloucester counties!
Brian Bradley sits in the number 2 spot (and is the best in South Jersey).
Surprisingly, even though I live in the neighboring town of Deptford (and when I lived in Bellmawr we ate at the Colonial Diner three times a month)… I never wrote about Brynn Bradley!
I actually did make it over soon after they opened, but walked in at their busiest time during lunch and they politely asked me I could stop back at another time… well 2020 was a really crazy time for me I wasn’t able to put that story together.
Coincidentally, I visited Brynn Bradley about two weeks ago and picked up 2 cheese steaks to take home… recorded some video… and was getting ready to edit it up when I saw I heard about the upcoming relocation.
Finally, if you’ve never had a Bryan Bradley cheese steak… It really is a delicious sandwich!
They use freshly shaved rib-eye steak which is lightly chopped so that the pieces still give some texture to sink your teeth into. The roll is a Liscio’s seeded roll.
I went with Cooper Sharp cheese… when it’s available I always get it. Close out the deliciously simple recipe with “light onions” and you’ve got an amazing cheesesteak.
For $12.50 the 10-ounce steak is nicely sized and incredibly delicious.
So while I missed Brynn Bradley the first time around, trust me I will be there at the opening of there upcoming Woodbury Heights location.
