Axia Women’s Health Moving in to New Building Next to Rothman in Washington Township
Reading Time: 2 minutes

Axia Women’s Health will be taking the bulk of the space in a new 10,000 sq ft building going up at the Washington Square Town Center project on Hurffville-Cross Keys Rd in Washington Township (next to Rothman).  This is according to a Philadelphia Business Journal article last summer.

The new building framework started going up last fall, and readers have been reaching out to 42Freeway to ask what is moving in (Note: the image in this article is from November).  Originally this spot was targeted for retail growth, but with the success of Rothman and other medical providers in the larger building next door, it made more sense to continue with medical care offerings.

Axia is a healthcare organization targeting women patients and it appears they have an office in the nearby Virtua Health building.
From their website:

Women deserve access to a more attentive, more sophisticated, more compassionate healthcare experience that meets their changing needs across time.

Their growing network of care includes OB/GYN physicians, breast health centers, high-risk pregnancy centers, laboratories, urogynecology, fertility centers, and more.

We knew the building was going up (did I mention I fractured my leg on an electric skateboard, and visited Rothman a few times?)…  but I didn’t know what the plans for the building were.

An article in the Philadelphia Business Journal back in July tells the story of the shift to medical use, and that Axia is the core tenant of the new building taking on 7,000 sq ft.

Readers will recall that announced for the other two buildings was a Bison Coffee Shop and Jenaro’s Trattoria Italian Restaurant.

Well in the July article, they are still calling them out as tenants.  No word on the full status of those two tenants, but…

The Bison Coffee website does call out the Washington Township location, including a few construction update photos from last year.  The Philadelphia just recently opened.
