Mount Laurel Enterprises has submitted an application to the Mount Laurel Planning Board to build a new Taco Bell on Route 38 in Mount Laurel.  The site is currently the home of a former branch of Beneficial Savings Bank, at the intersection of Route 38 and Walnut Drive.  This intersection is just east of Hartford Road.

Plans call for the demolition of the bank and the construction of a 2,753 square foot Taco Bell with a drive thru.  The applicant is seeking variances from the Planning Board for minimum parking lot aisle width (25 required, 18 proposed with angle parking), minimum parking lot space (10′ x 18′ required, 9′ x 18′ proposed for 10 of the angled spaces), a larger sign than allowed and a few others.

The Taco Bell will be situation in the red box in the Google Images shot pictured, next to Laurel Liquors.

The board hearing will be on March 12, 2020.
