Iron Plow Vineyards has applied to open a winery salesroom in the Tuscany Marketplace in Cherry Hill, at 1990 West Route 70. Iron Plow is a small winery located in Columbus, NJ, describing itself as a “boutique farm winery”.
We assume this would include this new Cherry Hill location will offer the full tasting room experience!
This appears to be a good location for the winery salesroom, as the Tuscany Marketplace has become a popular location for BYOB and takeout restaurants.
Located (recently) in the shopping center are The Boiling House, Megu Sushi, Bobby Chez, Miel Patisserie to name a few. A winery salesroom within walking distance of these restaurants should be beneficial to both the winery and the restaurants… not to mention the “foot traffic” from people who finish dinner or shopping and stop in at Iron Plow.
The Toscana restaurant at Tuscany Marketplace recently acquired a liquor license from the former Cherry Hill Chili’s.
The main Iron Plow vineyard is located on an old 62-acre farm in Columbus, originally established in 1690. They also have a tasting room in Mount Holly.
Back in 2019, Iron Plow applied to open a winery salesroom in the Barclay Farms Shopping Center, but that never came to pass.
Incidentally, in our researching for this story we found that the entire shopping center is for sale. We would expect that this would have no impact on the stores.
