Greens and Grains is coming to Voorhees New Jersey, opening a new location in the Echelon Village Plaza where Edge Fitness is also located. The address is 1120 White Horse Rd, Voorhees NJ.
Originally started in Atlantic County, the currently have five locations open, Voorhees will be the 6th… and more are planned
Greens and Grains offers a healthy plant-based menu serving up wraps, paninis, salads, sandwiches, juices, smoothies and smoothie bowls.
Well honestly they seem to be very creative chefs at G&G as their Facebook pages show a never ending variety of new and unique items.
Menus do vary per location so we’ll just have to wait and see what the final menu is for Voorhees!
An article in June at OCNJDaily tells the story of how Nicole Jacoby started the eatery back in 2014, after offering her juices and juice cleanses at a family restaurant.
What started out as a juice based business expanded into a full plant-based food eatery!
The lease was just signed in September for the Voorhees NJ location, so they still have a lot of work to get done ahead of opening!
They are hoping for a March 2023 opening for the Voorhees store.
Greens and Grains Voorhees
Located on White Horse Road, the new location for Greens and Grains Voorhees will be in the left hand side of the Echelon Village Plaza.
Currently they have the windows covered with “Coming Soon” graphics, which is what drew my attention during a recent visit to the shopping center.
It’s a smart location for them as their menu of healthy food options and smoothies should pair well with the visitors to Edge Fitness and the surrounding community.
An Echelon Health & Fitness gym is also close by and the parking lots are connected, so customers can move around to visit Greens & Grains without entering back on to the busy White Horse Road.
The Glendale Executive Campus is also connected to the Echelon Village Plaza, on the opposite side.
Menu Item Examples
As mentioned we’ll have to wait and see what’s on the Voorhees menu, but I’ll run down a few of the item categories which seem to be consistent across all locations.
And if you really want to challenge your taste-buds, check out the Northfield location Facebook page. It seems they are constantly coming up with new and delicious creations!
Ten different juice options available, all cleverly named with “R” as the first letter; Recharge, Refuel, Reboot, Restore and more!
All juices are made in house and are cold-pressed with fresh produce, never pasteurized and contain no additives.
As an example the Recharge juice includes beet, carrot, apple, ginger and lemon.
The Receive juice is a much more complex menu and is loaded with flavors! itaya, rose hips, hibiscus, lemongrass, orange + lemon zest, cinnamon, ginger & coconut water
Ten different smoothies featuring the freshest ingredients including bananas, kale, pineapple, apple juice, almond milk and more!
How about a Pink Kalada featuring Banana, kale, pineapple, coconut flakes, coconut water & coconut manna!
Wraps & Sandwiches
Just because it’s plant-based doesn’t mean you can’t get your favorite sandwhiches!
Veggie Burger wrap, Buffalo Chk’n Ranch Sandwich, Chk’n wrap, Sesame Kale wrap and more!
Delicious panini bread in a variety of styles including avocado blt, the caprese and the Cuban.
Greens and Grains says their Cuba is “One of the best sandwiches you’ll have, vegan or not”. Hudson panini bread with melted cheez, smoked tofu, dijon, mayo, pickle, tomato + onion.
Pitas, Salads, Grains, and Never Ending New Things!
So I have to be honest… I got permission to use photos from their Facebook page, to give readers an idea of what to expect from Greens and Grains.
But what I learned is… seems you just don’t know what to expect! ha!
I’m first looking at online menus showing 4 sandwiches, 6 paninis. Nice and crisply defined.
Then I go to the Facebook pages and its one thing after another.. of new and innovative items that just aren’t listed on the menu!
They definitely seem like a restaurant where you’re going to have to check the Facebook page on a regular basis to see what new creative deliciousness they’ve cooked up today!
The menu does have other categories… Pitas, salads, grains… even “things in a cup” like plant-based mac & cheese!
Well I’ll be back in the Spring to show everyone the new location and to try out their creative menu.
