The Echelon Village Plaza on White Horse Road in Voorhees has signed Dollar Tree to move in next to the Edge Fitness Clubs. There are now FIVE new tenant signings at the Plaza who are all in varying stages of building out their stores ahead of expected 2023 openings.
The Dollar Tree we’ll be occupying almost 10,000 square feet next to the fitness facility. Sun Capsule Tanning is on the other side.
Currently there is a small sign in the window saying “Coming Soon: Dollar Tree Stores”. The online marketing brochure put together by Soloff Realty and Development also indicates Dollar Tree as a new tenant tenant.
This is a recent signing so at this time there appears to be no activity at the site.
Also signed to join the Echelon Village Plaza are Buffalo Wild Wings Go, Greens and Grains, Citizens Bank in the front pad site, and also recently signed was Kids Strong.
Dollar Tree is already advertising for sales floor associates at this new White Horse Road location in Voorhees.
They also have another Voorhees location on route 73, where they are also hiring.
Dollar Tree at Echelon Village Plaza
For those unaware, Dollar Tree fits into the “dollar store” category but they have recently updated their pricing model to set the core pricing at $1.25.
They also offer some specialized products at higher price points.
The Echelon Village Plaza location for Dollar Tree is the second largest space, after the fitness club. The new Dollar Tree will have a prime location as it is centered along the back segment of the shopping center… and being next to Edge Fitness should help with foot traffic.
Technically the Dollar Tree unit is a combined three unit space, but looking at the property it seems a perfect match for the single larger tenant. The entrance doors are already centered in the middle of the larger unit.
I think at this point everyone is very familiar with what “Dollar Tree” is and that the discount retailer had previously adjusted their pricing model to $1.25, so I’m not really going to add much to the story specific to them.
The Dollar Tree stock did have an excellent day today the day of this publication rising almost 3.5%.
Echelon Village Plaza
As mentioned there are now five new signings at the Echelon Village Plaza, via the leasing firm Soloff Realty Development.
Three of the five signings we had previously covered at 42freeway.com.
Buffalo Wild Wings Go is a smaller strip mall variation of the well known chicken wing restaurant, which will offer their delicious wings tenders and French fries targeted at takeout and delivery. I feel they are looking to compete directly with WingStop.
Buffalo Wild Wings Go while the first of new five announced, has not started their interior construction yet.
Greens and Grains is a plant based food restaurant, which originally started in Atlantic County.
In the food category they feature wraps and sandwiches, paninis, salads and more. And everything is plant based! They also offer a variety of cold pressed juices and smoothies.
Greens and Grains is expecting a springtime opening.
Citizens Bank is relocating from across the street, and moving into the front pad site building which was previously Smashburger.
In my visit today the green colored Citizen Bank theming was already taking shape, and work is in progress on the building. I even noticed some upgrades to the single drive-thru window area… which may become an ATM only drive-thru. I need to follow up on that.
The last signing is for the Plaza is Kids Strong which is a children’s fitness and activity gym which they call a “milestone accelerator” for kids of walking age through 11 years old.
I’ll have more on them in a separate post.
Kudos to the Soloff Realty and Development team and exclusive agent David Dunkleman in crushing-it with so many great signings. There’s still availability in the plaza so if you are interested in bring your business to Voorhees, reach out to David.
