Columbia Sportswear has opened a new “brand store” in the Cherry Hill Mall which is one of only two in New Jersey and the only one in South Jersey. Columbia also has Factory Outlet stores at the Gloucester Premium Outlets and in the Fashion District Mall in Philadelphia.
The new Columbia Sportswear brand store opened last week carrying innovative outerwear, sportswear, footwear and accessories for outdoor enthusiasts of all levels.
The store also includes men’s and women’s insulated winter jackets, hiking boots and beanies to keep you warm throughout the season OK.
It’s a nicely designed store featuring a full outdoor adventure “vibe” and offering the full Columbia collection including the latest innovative technology, some of which you will not find in the factory stores.
Omni-Heat is new technology designed to keep you extra warm with options such as Omi-Heat Arctic which mimics the fur of a polar bear and other Arctic animals, engineered to keep you warm in the coldest of conditions.
The Omni-Heat Infinity technology is a lining which uses thermal reflective gold dots to reflect body heat, giving you extra warmth without added weight.
“Keeping You Outdoors Since 1938” is their slogan and their new Cherry Hill store brings a modern yet outdoor adventure feel to the brand.
Even the fitting rooms will carry you back to the woods or up onto the ski slopes, with their wall art graphics.
Jackets and thicker winter shirts are a key part of the Columbia Sportswear brand but the Cherry Hill store also offers a large selection of headwear/caps and outdoor adventure focused footwear.
One interesting product line available in Cherry Hill is The Vader Collection which is collaboration with the Star Wars movie family, featuring a dark and mysterious Darth Vader inspired style, with the latest Arctic tech to keep you warm.
The Vader Convertible Jacket for example features offers costume inspired quilting, lightsaber zipper pulls, custom Omni-Heat Infinity lining and removable sleeves, which convert the jacket into a vest.
Columbia Sportswear is located near the main center area of the Cherry Hill mall situated between Sephora and the White House Black Market. Nordstrom is the closest department store.
