GameStop Wasghington Township Closes Ahead of Chipotle and First Watch. No Timeline on New Eateries

The GameStop Store located in the "Acme" Shopping Center on Egg Harbor Road (Washington Township) closed last week, ahead of the the development of Chipotle and First Watch Daytime Cafe. GameStop was located in the stand alone building at the front center of the parking lot. At this time we could not identify any timeline for the construction or opening of Chipotle and First Watch.

Bed Bath & Beyond Sewell is Closing. Located Next to an A.C. Moore, Which is at Risk (Washington Township)

About 2 months ago Bed Bath & Beyond announced that they may close up to 40 stores (plus 20 other concepts), and recently we learned that the store at 141 Tuckahoe Rd in Sewell is closing. The banner hanging across the entrance makes it clear "STORE CLOSING".

Berlin NJ Based A.C. Moore Closing All Stores! Up to 40 Stores to Become Michaels. Deptford Already has a Michaels, So…

Berlin NJ based A.C. Moore is closing all stores, parent company Nicole Crafts announced today. Of the approx 145 stores, up to 40 locations will be taken over by Michaels, Deptford has both craft stores located less than 1/2 a mile from each other so it would seem one of the two Deptford craft stores will close.

Bistro Di Marino Coming To Washington Township at Former Pesce Location

Bistro Di Marino BYOB is coming to Washington Township, at the site of the former Pesce Restaurant on Egg Harbor Rd. The Bistro is a very popular Collingswood eatery, expanding into this new location in Sewell.

TD Bank at Rt 42 and Berlin-Cross Keys Road CLOSES Nov 15th (Across from Sam’s). Is Something Else Planned?

The TD Bank branch located at the busy corner of Rt 42 and Berlin-Cross Keys Rd (across from Sam's) is closing on November 15th! By my count there are 4 branches in Washington Township and it could be argued that is too many, but the area along Berlin-Cross Keys has seen a lot of development lately with new apartments, Cinder Bar coming soon, Royal Farms and other businesses... isn't it a little strange for TD Bank to decide now to leave?

The highly anticipated "At Home" home store opened on Thursday 10/17/2019! 42Freeway gave the store a quick walk-through last night and grabbed some photos along the way! It's a home decor store... but probably the biggest one you've seen!
