A new 4,600 sq ft car wash is being proposed in Washington Township, taking over the location of the closed Burger King on the South side of the Black Horse Pike (next to Chick-fil-a). The developers will be appearing at a township planning board hearing seeking final site plan approval for the car wash.
On Monday June 15th, New Jersey food and drink establishments are allowed to offer outside dining for their customers! Not all restaurants, breweries or wineries are supporting outside dining, and some are starting up delayed... so I started putting together a list of who is supporting outside dining, and a link to an associated Facebook post. I plan on updating this list as more information comes in.
42Freeway has put together an explanation video of the realignment taking place where Blackwood-Barnsboro Road meets Egg Harbor Road. We use drone video with label and voice overlays to explain what is taking place, the benefits to drivers, and the position of the new Super Wawa and a Fast Food restaurant.
Construction has started on the realigning of Blackwood-Barnsboro Road in Washington Township, where it connects to Egg Harbor Road. The new connection point will be further away from the center of the main 5-points intersection and include a new TRAFFIC SIGNAL, which should provide for better traffic flow in and out of Blackwood-Barnsboro Road. This change will also make room for a to-be-developed Super Wawa which will be sitting in a new, larger wedge of the 5-points intersection... but positioned facing Egg Harbor Road. Most of this land is currently the County Conservation (Mulch) business.
