Retail Mecca Deptford to Review Amazon’s Use of Retail Parking for Vehicle Storage in Shopping Center

South Jersey Retail Hub Deptford New Jersey is reviewing Amazon's use of shopping center's parking lot as storage for 300 vehicles associated with Amazon's delivery organization. Simply, the property is zoned commercial retail with a set number of parking spaces to support the buildings, and officials believe the new use of storage and reduced parking is against the previously approved zoning.

Deptford’s Don Pablos Gutted Ahead of Miller’s Ale House Buildout

The Deptford Miller's Ale House project has taken a big step forward,  as crews have been removing the complete interior of the former Don Pablos Restaurant to make way for the Miller's buildout.  We checked things out today and when we say completely removed... we mean COMPLETELY.   All that remains are the outer walls and roof.  This will be as blank a slate as possible for the developers of Miller's Ale House

Deptford Mall Forever 21 At Risk of Closing. Gloucester Outlets Store Opening Uncertain

Fashion Retailer Forever 21 has filed for bankruptcy and put together a list of 178 stores they plan on closing. Deptford Mall, Cherry Hill Mall, and Hamilton Mall are on the list but there is a lot of hope they remain open. Company officials seem confident better lease deals can be negotiate. The status of the planned Gloucester Premium Outlets location in Blackwood is unknown at this time.
