On Monday August 3rd, developers will be presenting to the Wildwood Planning Board, their plans to develop a prominent block of Pacific Avenue with all new development. The project will be a 4 story building, with retail and residential units… and a pool in the back with bar, identified as “club area” Memorable icons will be demolished to make room for the project.
All told, it will be 1 floor of retail with 3 stores defined, 3 floors of residential totaling 78 units… with an expected residential capacity of 315. The pool area will be in the back along Shellenger Ave, and will include a bar with listed capacity in the pool/bar area of 365.

The application is now on the calendar of the Board of the City of Wildwood. The initial public hearing has been set for Monday, August 3, 2020 at 6:00 p.m., at City Hall, 4400 New Jersey Avenue, Wildwood, Cape May County, New Jersey. Any person affected by this application will have the opportunity to present any objections to the proposed development. However, the Board reserves the right to exclude repetitious testimony. All documents relating to this application may be inspected by the public Monday through Friday, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., in the Office of the Board, Zoning and Land Use Control Division, 4400 New Jersey Avenue, Wildwood, Cape May County, New Jersey.
